This policy explains how Carbon Credit Consulting uses cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control them. Non-essential cookies are off by default and load only if you accept them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites function, remember preferences and understand how they are used. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work in comparable ways.
How we use them
- Essential — required for the site to function and to remember your cookie choice. These are always on. We store your consent preference in your browser’s local storage so we don’t ask on every visit.
- Analytics (non-essential) — help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve the site. These load only after you accept via the consent banner. Our default product analytics are privacy-respecting and cookieless; cookie-setting analytics such as Google Analytics load only with your consent.
Managing your consent
When you first visit, a banner lets you choose “Accept all” or “Essential only”. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings, which will prompt the banner to appear again. You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser.
Third-party cookies
Some non-essential cookies may be set by third-party providers (for example analytics services) when enabled. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.
