This policy explains how Carbon Credit Consulting (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects the personal data you share with us. We aim to handle your data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

Who we are

Carbon Credit Consulting is a carbon-advisory firm and a sister concern of Agpro Consulting Private Limited. For the purposes of the DPDP Act, we act as the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@agproconsulting.com.

Personal data we collect

  • Information you provide — when you submit a contact or resource-download form, we collect your name, email, phone number, company, sector and message.
  • Usage data — privacy-respecting analytics about how visitors use this site (see our Cookie Policy). Non-essential analytics load only with your consent.

Purpose and lawful basis

We process your personal data, with your consent, for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the consultation or resource you requested.
  • To send you materials you opted in to receive.
  • To operate, secure and improve our website and services.
  • To meet legal, regulatory and contractual obligations.

How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted processors that help us operate — for example our email-delivery provider (Resend), hosting and analytics providers — and only as needed to deliver our services, under appropriate safeguards.

Data retention

We retain enquiry data only as long as necessary to serve you and to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
  • request correction, completion, updating or erasure of your personal data;
  • withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing);
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
  • grievance redressal through our contact below.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@agproconsulting.com.

Children’s data

This website is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect the personal data of children, and will not process it without verifiable parental consent as required by law.
